Daniel Christoper Anthon, Daniel Herbert’s father, Fred’s Grandfather moved from Denmark to Australia with 3 of 4 brothers. He was a sea captain who died in 1899.
What I had not appreciated until putting these stories was that Daniel Herbert was only 9 when his father died.
