- The Moss Vale High School Cookery Book
In the good old days, not long after Australia joined the civilised world and converted to the Metric System, but before Celebrity Chefs and corporations strangled grass roots knowledge sharing for the collective good of shareholders. The Moss Vale Parents and Citizens Association gathered their collective family’s knowledge and put together a cook book to raise money for the school. Sharing their knowledge for the joy of it.
The book ran to 28 double-sided close-type pages. The typing was done on a manual typewriter and then the copies printed on a Gestetner printer (look it up – the smell was the best part of it) and manually collated and stapled.
